The world now revolves around technology, education also needs to evolve and what better way to do this than to introduce educational apps. I have chosen 3 apps that I think are the best apps available for education.
The NASA app contains information about the latest news,
findings, videos and images of NASA projects. Most assignments these days
require current information that is from a reliable source and the NASA app
meets this requirement so it makes it easier for high school and tertiary
students to get the information they need. This app is also good for
self-education because anyone can download it and learn a few things about life
outside the planet earth. So overall this app does not only benefit students, it
also benefits people who just want to learn new scientific things.
MacMillan textbooks are renowned textbooks that are used by
most schools. The eReader Macmillan app is an app that contains all the
Macmillan text books, this immediately makes life for students less heavy
because they don’t have to carry heavy school bags anymore. Students can make
highlights, notes and bookmarks while reading textbooks on this app. Instead of
students just using their phones or tablets for social networking, they can now
use them to study.
Lastly, the ClassDojo is an app that allows teachers to
track their learners’ behavior and to share this with their parents or guardians.
Teachers get this information while they are teaching and can use this to
motivate learners to participate more by giving them incentives to improve
their performance. It also helps parents stay in the loop with their children
regularly so that they can figure out how to help their children.
